Now we are back in the swing of musical theatre following our Injection of Happiness concerts, we are delighted to announce that Wimborne Musical Theatre Society’s next musical is …’LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS’… a charming, and funny musical comedy with a twist of horror, set in the 1960s.
It tells the story of Seymour, who works at Mushnik’s Flower Shop in Skid Row, and who becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers a strange and exotic plant. He names it Audrey Two in order to impress glamorous Audrey, the shop assistant he’s secretly in love with.
However Audrey Two has a mind of its own, and soon grows into a bad-tempered, foul-mouthed carnivore with an appetite that can’t be satisfied. Seymour must keep the meals coming to stop his prized plant from wilting, but how far is he willing to go to get the girl of his dreams?
We cant wait to be performing this award winning musical at the TIVOLI THEATRE , WIMBORNE from THURSDAY 7th to SATURDAY 9th APRIL 2022; performnaces at 7.30 pm each evening and a 2.30 Saturday 9th matinee.
