Rehearsals Starting for 'My Fair Lady'

WMTS are just starting rehearsals for 'My Fair Lady' to be performed 20th-24th June 2006 ath the Tivoli Theatre, Wimborne.

If you would like to take part, why not join us? Just come along to the Merley Community Centre, Harrier Lane, Merley on a Thursday evening at 7.45pm.

Auditions for the show will take place early February (venue to be advised)

New President for WMTS

Unfortunately due to ill health Councillor Bill Wretham has stepped down from the Presidency of the Society. He has been made an Hon. Vice-President to thank him for his work for the Society.

We have asked Diann March to be our new President and are very pleased to say that she has accepted. Diann has been associated with drama and musical productions for many years and has a great deal of experience in this field. We are very fortunate to have her with us.

Ticket to Broadway

"Ticket to Broadway" (Sat 26th Nov at the Tivoli Theatre, Wimborne) brings a miscellany of music from Broadway Shows such as Gypsy, Kiss Me Kate, The King and I, West Side Story, Music Man, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Porgy and Bess, Mack & Mabel, Student Prince, Kismet, Great Day, Jesus Christ Superstar, Sound of Music, Joseph and Chicago.

There are fifteen children to take part in some of the numbers. It will be a superb show.

Bullseye!

Wanted for starring role - a white Staffordshire Bull Terrier or English Bull Terrier for Sykes' dog in Oliver. Must be friendly, biddable and able to mix with adults and children. Would be helpful if it is 'house / stage trained'!!

Auditions for 'Oliver!'

We are looking for children to be in FAGIN'S GANG!

Children interested in auditioning should come to the rehearsals on Thursdays at 7.45pm at the Merley Community Centre, Harrier Drive, by 3rd February to get more details and go through music audition pieces and lib.
