A big thank you and well done to the Company for Showstoppers.
Thanks to the girls – Evelyn, Hermione, Karina, Kiera, Julia, Linda, Maureen, Teri, & Vanessa and to the boys – Andy, Bill, Calum, David, Denis, John, KD, Phil, Richard, Ron B, Ron K, & Scotty.
Showstoppers was a great success. We sold around 700 tickets and the audience response has been fantastic.
A big thank you to all the boys and girls behind the scenes – Sylvia & John, Steve & Pat, Val, Ann, Janet, Linda (you know who you are!) and to Di for making us all look so pretty (the girls that is – oh and the triplets!) and handsome (the boys – well nearly!).
Thank you to our fab Music Director John Stringer and the band; to Suzi de Villiers our choreographer for the pain she put us through and of course to Roy Joseph our Director who incidentally has an amazing collection of fancy waistcoats!
Who is the best piano player around Sally Plowright. We know she is like part of the band but a very special part. A whacking big thank you Sally for persevering with us through all those rehearsals and for the shows themselves.
And who “props” us all up Shelagh, Mike, & Diann. Thank you!
