With auditions completed, songs selected and running order set, rehearsals for Wimborne Musical Theatre’s next show, aptly named “Showstoppers”, are in full swing.
A sensory treat of an eclectic mix of some of the best known show songs are in store for audiences on Saturday 30th November at the Tivoli Theatre, Wimborne.
The company will be performing songs from record breaking shows from the past, including “Me and My Girl”, “Singing in the Rain” and “42nd Street”, and the present, such as “Wicked”, “ Hairspray”, “Newsies”, “Mamma Mia”, and many more.
The company will not be just singing; as always stylish dance routines will be weaved into the performance, as once again the society has an award winning production team of Suzi De Villiers as Choreographer; John Stringer, Music Director and Roy Joseph, Director.
There are just two performances of “Showstoppers”; a 2.30pm matinee and 7.30pm evening performance. Tickets are £12; and for the matinee performance tickets for children under 16 and senior citizens are £10. So don’t be disappointed book your tickets now!
