To celebrate and launch the new, enhanced square in Wimborne, East Dorset District Council and Wimborne BID organised a Street Theatre Festival to be held on Saturday 2nd June.
In addition to the official opening of the new enhanced square the event saw various local, theatre acts perform throughout the day to entertain its many visitors of all ages. Wimborne Musical Theatre were delighted to be involved in the event and we took to Wimborne High Street to perform songs from our upcoming show – ‘The Sound of Music’. The event drew in a big crowd who were more than happy to join in with the popular numbers from the show!
